• Find Papers via Natural Language: Ask a direct question like "What are the effects of mindfulness meditation on blood pressure?" Elicit searches the Semantic Scholar database (200M+ papers), finds the most relevant studies, and generates a one-paragraph summary of the collective findings.
• Data Extraction Tables: This is Elicit’s most powerful feature. Select 10 papers, and Elicit will generate a spreadsheet grid. You can add columns asking the AI to extract specific data from every paper simultaneously, such as "Sample Size," "Dosage Used," "Main Outcomes," or "Limitations." The AI fills in the grid with cited data in seconds.
• Chat with PDFs: Have your own set of proprietary PDFs or downloaded papers? Upload them to Elicit. The AI will cross-reference your specific library, allowing you to query your own curated research without hallucinating outside information.
• Methodology Filters: Filter your search results to only show high-quality evidence. You can easily instruct Elicit to only return Systematic Reviews, Meta-Analyses, or Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs).
